Co. Independence Chairman Connolly Endorses Judge Carpinello

Endorsement Expands Support for Re-election of Judge Carpinello
Thomas
S. Connolly Jr., the chairman of the Independence Party of Rensselaer
County, has endorsed State Supreme Court Justice Anthony Carpinello
for re-election.
The
endorsement by Connolly expands the support for Judge Carpinello.
Judge Carpinello has received the endorsement of a number of
Republican and Conservative chairs in the Third Judicial District,
and the backing by Chairman Connolly expands the support for the
judge into the Independence Party.
The
endorsement by Chairman Connolly is also key because Chairman
Connolly serves as Vice Chairman for the Independence Party of New
York.
“I
am proud to endorse Judge Carpinello for re-election because he has
been an outstanding judge who offers a tremendous amount of
experience and ability for the residents in the Third Judicial
District,” said Connolly.
“There
is no better choice for State Supreme Court Judge than Judge Anthony
Carpinello, and I look forward to working for his re-election this
fall,” added Connolly.
Support
from the minor parties, including the Conservative and Independence
parties, is seen as crucial in deciding the judicial race for State
Supreme Court this year. Connolly said he plans on contacting other
Independence Party leaders in the Third Judicial District in an
effort to win their support for Judge Carpinello.
“The
Independence Party has a record of supporting outstanding, qualified
candidates for public service, and we have such a candidate in Judge
Carpinello. I will be working hard to continue expanding support for
Judge Carpinello in the Independence Party,” said Connolly.
The
Third Judicial District includes the counties of Rensselaer, Albany,
Columbia, Greene, Ulster, Sullivan and Schoharie. |
